TaxDome’s document submission upgrade with the Genius Scan SDK

TaxDome faced significant challenges with document quality due to users frequently taking low-quality photos of their documents. This resulted in poor document quality and difficulties in understanding and extracting data. They decided to search for a solution to offer their customers the ability to take better-quality documents. Additionally, as such documents are extremely sensitive, ensuring the security of client data, including commercial and tax documents, was paramount for them.

Thanks to Genius Scan SDK’s compatibility and ease of use, the development team did not encounter any issues during integration. Plus, given that TaxDome’s apps are Flutter-based, the integration was particularly smooth, taking just over a week from initial technical research to release.

Since implementing the Genius Scan SDK, TaxDome has received “overwhelmingly positive feedback” from its users. Approximately 10% of users now upload documents via the scanner, resulting in over 200,000 scans since the integration launch. This significant adoption rate highlights the improved user experience and enhanced document quality. Additionally, they plan to introduce a new onboarding feature to further showcase the scanner’s advantages for optimal user satisfaction.
