Local Processing

The Genius Scan SDK is designed with privacy as a core principle. All image processing and neural network inference operations are performed locally on the device. This means:

• No cloud dependencies - Document scanning, enhancement, and data extraction happen entirely on-device
• No data transmission - Your documents and extracted data never leave the device for processing
• Complete data control - You maintain full control over where and how your data is stored

License Key Validation

The only network communication performed by the SDK is for license key refreshing. If this is a concern, you can disable the license key auto-refreshing, but we strongly advise against that as you will then need to manually update the license key with each renewal.
